My great grandpa Joseph Le Blond came from Alma, Québec. He was a log driver in the rivers. He had a homestead in Saskatchewan. He came to the Klondike in the 1880s. Then he volunteered to fight in WW1. When he came back, he had one son, René. Then they moved to Maillardville, BC. René then married Maud. They had 3 children with who they moved to Kamloops. They bought 80 acres in Mission Flats. I’ve always been living in the area but I’m a proud supporter of Canadiens de Montréal.
